Service Agreement
Scope of Services
Allen & Key Assembly provides professional furniture assembly, disassembly, and installation services for flat-pack and ready-to-assemble furniture. Services are performed at the client's specified location within our service area.
Scheduling & Confirmation
All appointments are considered confirmed once the client receives written or verbal confirmation from Allen & Key Assembly. Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate space and access to the work area prior to the scheduled appointment.
Client Responsibilities
- Ensure all furniture components and hardware are present and accessible before the appointment.
- Provide a safe and suitable work environment.
- Disclose any pre-existing damage to furniture or components prior to assembly.
- Be present or designate an authorized adult representative to be present during the service.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be subject to a service call fee. No-shows may be charged the full quoted price.
Liability Limitation
Allen & Key Assembly is not responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, missing or incorrect parts supplied by the client, or damage resulting from furniture placement on unsuitable surfaces. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Photos & Documentation
We may take before and after photos for our records and quality assurance. Client contact information will not be shared with third parties and is used solely for scheduling and communication purposes.
Online Invoice & Payment
Quote Requests
Quotes submitted through our website are estimates only and are not binding until confirmed in writing by Allen & Key Assembly. Final pricing may vary based on actual scope of work, additional items, or site conditions.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and major credit/debit cards. A receipt or invoice will be provided upon request.
Disputes
Any billing disputes must be raised within 5 business days of service completion. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
